Who can participate?
Become a Participant
As a participant of the LINk an individual, group or organisation can influence the bigger picture through the roles of the LINk, even though they may not be in a position to participate on a regular basis. A participant may be interested in a single issue, may take an active role in specific pieces of work that relates to their areas of interest, or they may take a less active role by answering surveys or providing information about an issue they have had experience of or provide information on behalf of an interest group. If you have little time and would simply like to be kept informed about the LINk you can sign up to receive the Cheshire East LINk newsletter. There are a range of activities that you will be able to get involved with as and when you choose.
Members and Participants
The time that you put in being either a participant or a member can also vary. Some roles need a regular commitment whilst others can be arranged more flexibly. Some activities only happen within office hours, whilst some will operate at other times. We will work with you to find the best opportunities for your time and interests. Remember signing up to the LINk in one way does not mean that somewhere along the road you can't decide to change or look at other opportunities. Participants and members can be involved in more than one type of activity. Training opportunities will arise for LINk members and participants and we will be working with people to capture their ideas around training opportunities or perhaps utilising the skills and experiences people would like to share with the LINk.If you would like to join the LINk and receive newsletters every other month, please complete a Registration form, which you can find in our Join page.
