Constitution and Governance
The Constitution of the LINk and the policies and procedures that go with it give LINk volunteers the structure to carry out LINk activities. These governance arrangements were drafted by the Interim LINk Board during 2008/09, and accepted by the LINk members in a ballot in February 2009.
Revisions to the constitution were made following a number of meetings held by a Constitution Review Task and Finish Group formed specifically by the Cheshire East LINk Committee to look at how the constitution and procedures and policies could be streamlined. At a Cheshire East LINk Committee meeting on 21 February 2011 members voted to consult the wider membership to endorse the documents through a postal ballot by Monday 21 March 2011.
